چکیده
Fe-Si-B amorphous zero-valent iron has attracted wide attention because of its efficient remediation heavy metals and dye wastewater. In this paper, the effect powder (Fe78Si9B13AP) on Ni contaminated soil was investigated. Results show that immobilization efficiency nickel in by Fe78Si9B13AP with low content is higher than ZVI. The apparent activation energies reactions Ni2+ ions 25.31 kJ/mol. After continuing reaction for 7 days, mainly transformed into monoplasmatic (Ni0) combined (hydroxide) oxides. Microstructure investigations product layer nano-pore structure beneficial to improve activity Fe78Si9B13AP. that, a magnetic separation process introduced, which part immobilized are removed reduce total 58.21%. results simulated acid rain leaching experiment showed release after 62.89% lower before remediation.

Soil Remediation Using Nano Zero-valent Iron Synthesized by an Ultrasonic Method
A new method for the synthesis of nano zero-valent iron (nZVI) was developed in the present study. Ultrasonic waves, as a novel method, were used to synthesize the nanoparticles. The morphology and surface compositions of the particles were characterized by using FESEM, XRD, BET, and particle size analyzer. The synthesized nanoparticles were then utilized as a Fenton-like catalyst to degrade of...
متن کاملImmobilization of chromate in hyperalkaline waste streams by green rusts and zero-valent iron.
Zero-valent iron (ZVI) and green rusts can be used as reductants to convert chromium from soluble, highly toxic Cr(VI) to insoluble Cr(III). This study compared the reduction rates of Cr(VI) by ZVI and two carbonate green rust phases in alkaline/hyperalkaline solutions. Batch experiments were carried out with synthetic chromate solutions at pH 7.7-12.3 and a chromite ore processing residue (COP...
متن کاملChemical Reduction of Hexavalent Chromium (VI) in Soil Slurry by Nano Zero Valent Iron
The increasing industrial development of recent decades has lead to the production of increasing quantities of waste containing heavy metals, elements often harmful to the environment, which in the past were not properly disposed of, thus inducing soil and groundwater pollution. In particular, chromium (Cr) and its derivatives are largely used in industries such as textiles, electronics, metall...

The iron nanoparticle technology has received considerable attention for its potential applications in groundwater treatment and site remediation. Recent studies have demonstrated the efficacy of zero-valent iron nanoparticles for the transformation of halogenated organic contaminants and heavy metals. In this work, we present a systematic characterization of the iron nanoparticles prepared wit...
متن کاملDegradation of Lindane by Zero-Valent Iron Nanoparticles
Thus far, zero-valent iron has been studied mostly for the degradation of structurally simple oneand two-carbon halogenated organic contaminants such as chlorinated methanes, ethanes, and ethenes. In this research, laboratory synthesized particles of nanoscale iron were explored to degrade lindane, also known as -hexachlorocyclohexane, a formerly widely utilized pesticide and well-documented pe...
